Location: UK or Europe
Salary range: £65,000-£75,000 plus equity & benefits (comparable salaries outside of the UK)

We are an energetic, customer-driven advanced materials science company focused on designing, developing, and manufacturing smart engineered adsorbent to capture and retain PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) from water across the Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Municipal market sectors.
Based in London – UK, Puraffinity was founded in 2015 and since then has become a leading organization in tackling PFAS, commonly known as The Forever Chemicals, due to its resistance and high mobility.

The Opportunity
The Product Manager reports to the VP of Commercial as part of the commercial team.
You will play a pivotal role by leading the company’s product roadmap, tracking the regulatory landscape on a global basis, performing competitive and market intelligence initiatives, conducting market analysis to identify growth opportunities within market segments, identifying new growth areas and developing market entry strategies.
You will drive business growth by managing the company’s Market Intel, identifying new solutions matching the market needs, and liaising across the Commercial, Product Development, Operations, and Financial departments.

This role requires product management experience within the water industry, so we are happy to consider candidates based in the UK and Europe. The role will require travel.
What you'll be doing
Identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and support Puraffinity’s business growth strategies.
Develops and manages product roadmap, from concept through sun-setting and/or conversion. Identifies opportunities for process/business improvement to drive efficiency and results.
Develop formal insights into the market - trends, market analysis, SWOT, competitive review, pricing, and customer buyer behaviour.
Identify target market segments, segment sizing and ideal customer targets, and design forward-thinking positioning approaches for the various market segments of Puraffinity services.
Define messaging and value propositions and be accountable for the overall go-to-market plan, including revenue forecasts, adoption goals, pricing strategy, and service strategy.
Create the product strategy for new products and services that appeal to unique needs and requirements of prospects and customers.
Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
Develop a clear market entry strategy and commercialization process to ensure success at all levels, internally and externally.
Support the design and execution of sales channel plans and go-to-market actions, including developing sales enablement tools and methodologies.
Experience and behaviours
Product management experience across the water-tech, clean-tech or deep-tech space.
Experience building business cases, analytics and reporting, market trends/analysis, competition analysis, positioning, business modelling, and product road-map development.
Ability to communicate, work collaboratively and motivate others in a team-based environment.
Customer-face experience is required.
Proven project management experience.
Ideally, degree qualified in Engineering, Chemistry, or other scientific discipline.
A good balance between strategic thinking and execution.
