You’ll be one of the first people helping us build Clove from the ground up. Your work will directly shape how our customers interact with their advisors and manage their wealth for the first time in a human, guided, mobile-first way.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Clove’s financial advice strategy, ensuring advice is personal, compliant, scalable, and deeply trusted by clients.

  • Own the recruitment, onboarding, and management of Clove’s initial cohort of financial planners and advisors.

  • Design the frameworks for delivering advice — from milestone-based planning to suitability, documentation, review cycles, and customer outcomes.

  • Work closely with product, design, and engineering to embed advisor workflows into our platform — and build tools that scale advisor quality and efficiency.

  • Shape how Clove approaches regulation, compliance, and best practice as we move from invite-only to fully regulated and scalable.

  • Be the internal voice of the advisor — translating planning insights into product improvements and platform evolution.

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years in financial advice, wealth management, or regulated investment planning — with deep experience managing or mentoring advisors.

  • Strong knowledge of UK financial planning frameworks, FCA requirements, and the future of hybrid advice.

  • You’ve led or helped scale an advice team, and you understand how to balance client experience, regulatory obligation, and commercial outcome.

  • Passion for bringing financial advice to a new generation — with a belief that technology can enhance, not replace, human planning.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams (or a strong desire to do so).

  • Bonus: Chartered Financial Planner status or equivalent; experience with discretionary permissions or running an IFA; worked in a startup or growth-stage firm.
