At the heart of Daye is R&D and most of our processes are vertically integrated, including our tampon production. We are building a comprehensive gynaecological health platform that will address all areas of womens health, from first menstruation through to menopause, and beyond. Our goals are to bridge the gender gap in medical research, and product innovation, by designing products rooted in science and inspired by womens intuition.
One of our key hypotheses is that tampons can be used for a lot more than just soaking up menstrual fluid. Therefore, we designed:
a Pain-relieving Tampon to help the 90% of women who suffer menstrual cramps;
a Diagnostic Tampon to detect STIs, HPV, and fertility-inhibiting pathogens;
We are currently working on several new digital and physical products and are in the process of expanding to the US, where we will aim to commercialise our products through ecommerce, retail, insurers, and OBGYN clinics. We exist to raise the standards in gynae health by creating innovative products and services that fit conveniently into our lives, and we need exceptional talent to help achieve our mission.
About the opportunity
Over the next 12 months, our aim is to be 5x our current subscriber base, which means youll be part of a company on an exceptionally high growth trajectory. We are especially ambitious in our plans for rolling out new products and services.
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate OB-GYN specialist to partner with us as a contractor, offering medical consultations to Daye customers who are suspected to have pelvic pain conditions.
What you'll be doing
Conduct comprehensive medical consultations with patients, referred by Daye, who present with suspected pelvic pain conditions, using a compassionate and patient-centred approach.
Assess and diagnose pelvic pain conditions based on the customer's medical history, symptoms, and relevant diagnostic tests.
Provide evidence-based treatment plans and recommendations tailored to each customer's unique needs, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Collaborate with the Daye team, including product developers, to facilitate comprehensive care and optimise the patient journey.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of consultations and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements and your clinics policies.
Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and actively engage in patient education, offering valuable insights and guidance for managing pelvic pain conditions.
Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, particularly related to pelvic pain, to provide cutting-edge care.
What you need to bring
Possess a valid medical degree specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBGYN) from an accredited institution.
Current certification with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as an individual or part of a CQC-certified practice.
Possess extensive knowledge and experience in diagnosing and managing pelvic pain conditions, including endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, PCOS, fibroids, and other related disorders.
Familiarity with telemedical services or online consultations, including the ability to effectively communicate and provide care remotely, is highly desirable.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make well-informed decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, actively participating in conferences, workshops, and relevant medical training programs.
Holding current board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, demonstrating expertise and competency in the field is desirable.
