Your mission
Advance thermocatalysis from hypothesis to proof in real-world programs
Dunia is building AI for one of the hardest unsolved problems in science: turning materials discovery from an academic, trial-and-error process into a programmable, scalable discipline.
As Research Scientist, Thermocatalysis, you will own applied thermocatalysis research tied directly to proof-of-concept (PoC) projects and customer programs. Your role is to turn hypotheses into validated results that inform decisions, models, and next steps.
This is a delivery-oriented scientific role embedded in an end-to-end discovery system.

Your tasks will include:
Own applied thermocatalysis research- Design, execute, and iterate thermocatalysis experiments aligned with program goals
- Develop and refine experimental protocols as understanding evolves
- Ensure results are reproducible, interpretable, and decision-relevant
- Collaborate closely with AI, automation, and materials teams
- Help translate experimental workflows into machine-readable representations
- Provide experimental insight that informs model development and active learning
- Analyze and interpret experimental results with an applied lens
- Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders and program leads
- Connect experimental outcomes to customer and PoC objectives
- Maintain high standardsfor lab documentation, safety, and data quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement of experimental workflows
- Stay current on relevant thermocatalysis literature and techniques
