What You Will DoDoes the innovation and keeping up the pace of change across a business drive you? Supporting the Head of Compliance Monitoring and the Compliance Monitoring manager, you will assist executing the Compliance Monitoring Plan across Flagstone Group. This role will help ensure that our compliance frameworks are robust and operating effectively in order to be fully compliant with all statutory and regulatory obligations. You will maintain strong working relationships with internal teams as well as the Compliance teams at Flagstone's bank partners. Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with the monitoring of Flagstone's adherence to regulatory requirements, including:
  • Carrying out independent control testing and interviews/fieldwork within the first line business areas and making evidence-based judgements.
  • Support with analysing qualitative and quantitative information to identify key risks and themes
  • Communicating, orally and in writing, the risks, key findings and recommendations
  • Tracking activity to remediate findings, and ensure actions are completed within agreed timelines, and escalating where due dates are likely to be missed
  • Contributing to the management of relationships with Compliance teams at partner banks, including with respect to the delivery of assigned projects and audits
  • Contributing to the management of regulatory change
  • Contributing to Compliance risk management at Flagstone
  • Delivering and contributing to Compliance training as requested
  • Collating and providing management information for Flagstone's Senior Leadership Team
  • Assisting with the management of transaction monitoring alerts
  • Driving collaboration and effective communication with peers and colleagues across all teams
  • Acting as a role model for Flagstone culture and behaviours
What You Will Need
  • 2+ years' experience within a FinTech / Financial Services environment
  • Knowledge of key regulation, including the Money Laundering Regulations and Payment Services Regulations
  • Knowledge of the FCA rules, including BCOBS
