Does this sound like you?

You’re a Senior Salesforce Engineer, ideally with 7+ years’ experience, who’s excited to forge a new way to save. You’ll have delivered on large scale projects of work, and will be excited about producing and maintaining high quality systems, including system design and architecture. You work in partnership with relevant teams across an organisation to identify how technology can solve business challenges and will be capable of answering “how and why” technology is designed and delivered.

What you’ll do:

Working on a Greenfield project, this will be a hands-on role helping to rewrite, improve and enhance the Flagstone Salesforce CRM platform, whilst working across the business to ensure the platform is used to its maximum potential. You will play a key role in an Agile software team, fostering best practice and automation to ensure software quality. As a subject matter expert in your domain, and through working collaboratively, you will deliver a high quality, resilient product and will always look to help improve the software engineering processes and practices, and to influence the software architecture.

What you’ll bring:

• Advanced Salesforce Apex and Flows
• Platform Developer II level experience
• Declarative and non-declarative coding approaches
• Experience of working with Salesforce in a CI/CD environment using technologies such as Git, SFDX and Azure DevOps
• Experience of integrating Salesforce with external systems and data sources using Apex REST, and connecting business processes using Platform Events
• Agile advocation with a SCRUM background
• SOLID and Domain Driven Design
• TDD expertise with experience of test automation
• Experience of RESTful API Design and authentication with OAUTH
• Experience of Event Driven Architectures or distributed systems coupled via messaging
• A team first approach
• Emotional intelligence, effectively listening and providing thoughtful solutions
• Proactiveness, and the ability to demonstrate initiative positively and collaboratively
• Problem solving skills, and being comfortable dealing with ambiguity and fluid situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An interest in software craftsmanship - looking to produce low cost-of-ownership code that delivers value to clients
