You’re a Security Engineering Team Lead, ideally with 10 years’ experience, who’s excited to forge a new way to save. As a Microsoft house (from endpoints, email and all the way to our platform that our customers use every day), you’ll be comfortable with the full suite of Microsoft Security and Infrastructure solutions, and can help us improve and deliver on the promise of providing confidentiality, integrity, and availability to our clients who trust us with their transactions, data, and availability.

What you’ll do:

Working alongside the Cloud Platform Engineering Team, you will help drive the growth and maturity of our dedicated security function at Flagstone, and lead the management and enhancement of secure modern Microsoft Azure hosted services. You will also help us to build out our automation and controls in the same way we build and provide our services to our customers.

A large part of the day-to-day will also involve coaching and mentoring other engineers, guiding them in designing and implementing robust security solutions, with a focus on their career progression and personal development. You will also be responsible for effective performance management and fostering a culture of excellence.

What you’ll bring:

Communication & Leadership: Confidently communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, performance management, recruitment, coaching and mentoring

Architecture & Cloud: System design, Azure cloud-first principles, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft cloud services (Azure, 365, AAD, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud).

Security & Governance: Governance, audit, physical and network security, secure endpoint design, and Microsoft security solutions.

Agile & Problem-Solving: Agile/Scrum practices, problem-solving, influencing, and negotiating.

Security Operations: SIEM, SOAR, SOC
