What is Flagstone?

Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.

Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.

A feel for our culture:

To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.

That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.

We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.

But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.

Does this sound like you?

A CRO specialist who has ample experience optimising conversion rate and running experiments based on user insight ideally within a complex product. You have a background in Marketing, Data or Psychology and have successfully applied these techniques to deliver results in A/B tests and other statistical methods. You've run programmes of CRO and you're comfortable guiding cross functional stakeholders to well designed experiments that deliver wins and learnings.

What you’ll do:

As a Lead CRO Strategist your key responsibility will be to deliver growth related optimisation using insight, experimentation and new product features. You will work closely to lead and guide other contributors such as squad leads, product managers and marketing specialists, leveraging data analysts and user researchers to get the insights you need. You will oversee the governance of experiments at Flagstone ensuring appropriate prioritisation of the roadmap, de-risking confounding variables and training on experimental validity.

  • Lead the CRO strategy, designing and running a pipeline of A/B and multivariate tests
  • Analyse customer journeys and conversion funnels to identity opportunities for improvement
  • Translate quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable optimisation hypotheses
  • Partner with UX, Product and Marketing to implement test variations and measure outcomes
  • Develop frameworks, dashboards and reports to track conversion performance.
  • Prioritise experiments based on potential business impact
  • Share learnings and recommendations with stakeholders across the company

What you’ll bring:

  • Multiple years leading CRO programmes with a mix of wins and learnings. You have a scientific mindset and want others to embrace this.
  • Experience in positively impacting conversion rates and other growth metrics using experimentation methods, such as A/B testing, Multivariate testing and serial or benchmark tests.
  • Experience running workshops with cross functional stakeholders to prioritise a testing roadmap and being an advocate for experiments within the org, helping others form credible hypotheses for testing.
  • Experience balancing both qualitative and quantitative insight through research specialists to inform hypotheses, collaborating with research specialists; and collaboration with designers and copywriters to develop test variants.
  • The ability to interpret experiment results through a baseline understanding of Bayesian and Frequentist statistics, relying on tooling or data specialists when required.
  • Hands on experience with test tools such as Visual Website Optimiser (VWO) or Optimizely as well as behavioural analytics such as Heap, Amplitude, Mixpanel or Google Analytics a strong advantage
