About us:

Gravity Sketch is the category leader in solving the challenges faced by teams that design 3D products. Our platform enables teams to create and communicate 3D ideas in the quickest and most intuitive way possible - whether they are globally distributed or in the same geography.

The platform is changing the way companies like Adidas and Ford carry out their day-to-day design work, helping to increase creativity, productivity, collaboration and compressing time to market. We take a B2C approach to B2B, nurturing a large community of highly engaged design and engineering professionals using the product to redefine their digital design workflow.

The Gravity Sketch platform is accessible across VR and web-based applications allowing users to integrate GS seamlessly into their workflow.

About the role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to help build the collaboration experience of Gravity Sketch. This collaborative design experience spans our VR, desktop, and web applications, impacts personas ranging from designers and engineers to marketers, and ultimately delivers a critical part of the Gravity Sketch value proposition to our customers.

You’ll be very hands-on with our customers, digging deep and problem solving with them to help define what a new way of bringing 3D products to life looks like, and working closely with our VP Product and colleagues in Design and Engineering to build the product that realises this ambition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers, business, and product to spar with the VP Product and other leadership on product direction - by bringing customer insights and data to the table

  • We plan product goals on a 6 monthly cycle and coordinate execution against it on a quarterly basis - help us define what the product goals are, and ensure we deliver the right product as we execute. This means:

    • Discovery: to help us ensure we’re setting the right goals, and to set the right scope and success criteria for what we want to build

    • User validation & testing: drive iterations on the solution and scope based on user feedback together with Design and Engineering

    • Post-launch: how have we fared against our success criteria? What iterations are needed?

  • Ensure that we are working in a collaborative way with Design and Engineering to ensure we are building the right things in the right way, and that we are balancing the capacity of the engineering team against needs of product, design, and tech debt / investment

  • Build a strong communication bridge with our commercial teams to ensure we are partnering together to build the best product for our customers, and that our colleagues are kept in the loop of key learnings and decisions

Requirements

  • Experience shipping software products for a B2B startup

  • Good understanding of rapid product discovery and product development principles

  • Comfortable collaborating, communicating and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders within the business

  • Critical thinker: able to break down a problem to get to its core issues, and be open minded to non-traditional solutions to problems

  • Comfortable with travel to meet with customers (on average 2-3 customer visits in US/Europe per quarter)

  • Please note: this role will require working from our London office (Brixton) at least 2 days per week

What we offer

  • Uncapped holidays: Startup world is busy, we encourage taking time off to recharge and rest.

  • Flexible working: we appreciate that everyone has their optimum setup and things to work around in life. We would support remote and hybrid working as well as varying hours.

  • £50/ month personal wellbeing budget

  • Private healthcare

  • Mental health support

  • £1,000 personal budget per year for professional development: you will learn a lot here but there may be more want or need. With this budget, we aim to support you in your career growth.

  • Team lunch Wednesdays: out together in person, or virtually with food delivery credit.

  • Socials & a biannual global meet up: we are passionate about bringing everyone together whenever we can, this helps build tighter bonds and alignment.

  • Enhanced parental leave policy (maternity and paternity)

  • Cyclescheme & Techscheme

  • Chance to work at a fast growing start-up changing how the products of the future are designed, and exposure to a transparent startup journey

  • Real work ownership - you drive your own initiatives and have an opportunity to take your work all the way through to launch.

  • Opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading design companies

  • Transparent insight into the startup journey, plus unparalleled learning if you’re up for the challenge!
