Role Summary:
We are at an exciting point in our journey. We have around 50 people across the UK, US, and beyond, and we have built strong foundations for how we hire, support, and develop our team. Now, we are looking to evolve our people operations as we move into our next phase of sustainable growth. You will have the freedom to shape what great looks like and have a real impact on how our team works and feels every day. As People Operations Manager, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining the systems, processes, and culture that enable our people to do their best work. You will ensure we have solid HR foundations in place while fostering engagement, alignment, and a supportive environment. You will work closely with the leadership team to align people strategy with business goals, while also supporting with general operations to help the company run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Culture & Employee Experience:
Promoting and strengthening initiatives and practices for engagement, belonging, and collaboration across our hybrid workforce.
Act as a trusted partner and advocate for employees, including fostering open communication and feedback loops.
Working closely with the leadership team to define and strengthen the cultural DNA of the company, ensuring it remains authentic and scalable through future growth

People Operations
Own and improve all core people processes, to include onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, as well as compensation reviews, employee benefits and career development frameworks.
Ensure HR compliance with UK employment law and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records and policies.
Implementing and managing a new HRIS system and streamlining workflows and reporting across the wider function
Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance issues, and organisational design.

Talent & Workforce Planning
Support hiring managers with structured, fair, and efficient recruitment and onboarding processes.

Operations support:
Support with improving company-wide processes and systems.
Assist with ongoing information security compliance (no previous experience necessary)
Restructure how we communicate internally to build systems for effective distribution of critical information
Assist with planning and organising social events, and ad hoc operational projects, to include support with celebrations of company and team wins both big and small to ensure good work is rewarded across the business
Requirements:
Previous experience working in people/HR roles, including start up/small business experience
Passionate about creating a great employee experience
Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and discretion
Work with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
Our studio is based in Brixton - being able to go to the studio regularly would be beneficial, but not required.
