The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join our growing finance team here at Lottie. This is an exciting and challenging position that requires strategic thinking combined with creativity and a willingness to get your hands dirty. You will be given autonomy in your work from day one, though with guidance and training.
You will play a key role in the success of the business by leading best-in-class monthly close and reporting processes, through solid controls and efficient processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead on the day-to-day accounting and month end close, from reconciliations to management reporting
- Proactively identify problems and opportunities to standardise and improve processes
- Embed a culture of controls within the team, ensuring an appropriate level of checks and balances for each workstream
- Own payroll and employee expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies
- Support on year end statutory accounts
- Support on adhoc finance projects and research

Who we’re looking for
- Qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
- Knowledge of accounting, tax and reporting standards and principles, with the ability to apply them operationally
- Experience with Xero is ideal, but not a must
- Confidence with managing large data sets in excel
- Self-starter and proactive in getting things done with a high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong organisation and prioritisation skills, even in a fast-paced working environment
