What do we do?

Paddle offers SaaS companies a completely different approach to their payments infrastructure.

Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payments fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 4000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The Role:

We’re expanding our People Operations team and looking for a People Operations Manager to help deliver a world-class People Operations service to Paddlers. We’re a forward thinking team and always look to do things the smart way, adding value and making a positive difference.

If you’re meticulous with detail, have worked in tech/SaaS or start up and thrive in a fast paced environment, then this is your ideal role. We’re looking for someone with bags of initiative, energy and a drive to make processes as efficient as they can be to deliver an excellent experience for our Paddlers.

What you'll do:

1. Day-to-Day operations

  • Oversee all People Operations functions autonomously, including Onboarding, Benefits, HRIS, Payroll, HR T ech Stack, Mobility, and Offboarding.

  • Address complex and sensitive employee queries through the People Ops Inbox, our centralised space for all queries.

  • Act as an escalation point, collaborating with People Partners, the Talent Acquisition Team, and other departments (e.g.: IT , Finance & Legal) to ensure a smooth and efficient People Operations service delivery.

  • Provide operational support to managers and employees on People Ops-related questions, policies, and processes.

2. Internal Mobility

  • Manage visa renewals and international relocations for Paddlers. Including liaising with our legal partners and being the interface with the employee.

3. Process Lead

  • Lead initiatives to improve our People processes, ensuring they are streamlined and optimised using a continuous improvement approach.

4. Compliance

  • Responsible for compliance, keeping track of changes in employment laws and regulations across our operating markets, and updating processes, guidelines, and People Policies as needed.

5. HR Tech Stack

  • Lead initiatives to upgrade our tech stack, leveraging system integrations.

6. Projects

  • Support the Head of People Ops on projects related to T otal Rewards and other projects as required.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You have a track record in a fast-paced international scale-up HR/People Operations Manager role being used to having to handle multiple priorities at any one time and be comfortable with it

  • You are a people person who is highly organised, loves planning and has tons of initiative.

  • You thrive at building solid relationships with your stakeholders whether internal to the People team or external in the wider business

  • You enjoy interacting with people on a daily basis and supporting them with their queries

  • You have high integrity and can be trusted with confidential information

  • You are proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment that empowers you to learn quickly.
