The role:
We're looking for a part-time Financial Controller contractor working up to twice a week to join our small but might Finance team. You'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, working alongside our VP of Finance & Operations and helping mentor and grow our Finance Assistant.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and manage consolidated month/quarter/year end management accounts pack across the group
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, accounting standards, internal controls and regulations across the group
- Oversee all accounting operations
- Manage year end group audit, corporation tax and R&D claims
- Advise on process improvements and best practice controls
- Help manage a junior team member
- Other ad hoc tasks
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- PQE in VC-Backed B2B SaaS companies with global operations
- Previous experience in audit
- Good self-management and team-management skills
- Experience working with Xero and Quickbooks
- You bring excellent communication and presentation skills
- And finally, you must be based in the UK and happy to work on a part time contract basis. We are also a remote first company.
